Privacy Policy for "Noti"
This Privacy Policy describes how "Noti" (hereinafter, "Noti" or "the
Application"), the sole and exclusive property of
The Application Owner, manages its users' information.
At Noti, your privacy is our highest priority.
1. Noti Privacy Principles
-
Limited Data Collection: Noti is designed to operate
with minimal data collection. Creating an account is optional.
However, Noti processes limited security and technical data necessary
to operate the service for all users, and limited account information
only if you choose to create an account using Sign in with Apple.
-
Technical Infrastructure: The application uses
technical infrastructure to facilitate RSS feed retrieval,
normalization, caching, account authentication, and display. Any
technical data processed is strictly limited to what is necessary to
provide the service and is not used for commercial purposes,
marketing, profiling, or data monetization.
-
No Advertising: Noti does not contain any form of
advertising. Therefore, we do not use ad tracking services that may
collect data for advertising purposes.
2. Information We Collect
Noti processes limited information in the following situations:
-
For all users: an Apple attestation identifier or
similar attestation data required to verify app integrity, help
identify the requesting app instance or user for security purposes,
and operate the service safely.
-
If you create an account using Sign in with Apple:
your first name, last name, and email address as provided by Apple
during the account creation flow.
-
If you create an account using Sign in with Apple:
your email address, Apple user identifier, and authentication tokens,
which Noti stores as needed to create, maintain, and protect your
account.
-
If you use commenting features: your username or
display name, comment text, the related article or post identifier,
your account or user identifier, timestamps, and comment status
information such as whether a comment has been edited or deleted.
-
Technical data required for the application to operate properly.
The Apple attestation identifier is required for all users but is used
only transiently for verification and is not retained by Noti after that
verification is completed. First name and last name received from Apple
are used only during the sign-in flow and are not retained by Noti after
account creation. If you do not create an account, Noti is not designed
to retain personal data beyond the limited technical data needed to
operate the service.
For service performance and delivery, Noti may also temporarily store or
cache limited content made available in public RSS feeds, such as
titles, excerpts or summaries, links, publication dates, source names,
author bylines, image URLs, and similar feed metadata. When a feed
provides unusually long descriptions, Noti may truncate those fields for
excerpt-only display. This feed content is used solely to operate and
speed up the RSS reader service and is not treated by Noti as personal
data collected from users.
If you post a comment in Noti, that comment may be visible to other
users together with your username or display name and related comment
metadata, such as the time of posting and the associated article or post
reference.
3. Information We Generally Do Not Collect
Outside of the limited account information described above, Noti is not
designed to collect, store, or process the following personal or usage
information:
- Geographic location.
-
Reading habits, visited articles, or interactions within the
application for advertising or profiling purposes.
- Advertising identifiers or advertising profile data.
-
Any other personal information not required to provide the service you
request.
4. How We Use Information
Any data processed by Noti is used solely to:
- Create and manage your optional user account.
- Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
-
Validate app integrity, verify attestation data, and protect against
unauthorized access.
-
Operate comment features, display comments to other users, and keep
comment records associated with the relevant article or post.
-
Review reported comments, enforce community rules, remove comments,
and suspend or ban accounts involved in abuse or violations of our
terms.
- Retrieve and display RSS feeds and operate the application.
- Respond to support or privacy requests you send to us.
The Application Owner does not use this data for commercial purposes,
user profiling, behavioral advertising, or data monetization.
5. Account Deletion
You can delete your Noti account directly from the Settings page inside
the application. When you request account deletion, the account data
stored by Noti is deleted immediately, including comments associated
with that account.
6. Third-Party Services
When using Noti, you may interact with third-party services in the
following ways:
-
Apple Attestation and Verification Services: Noti may
rely on Apple-provided attestation or verification mechanisms to
validate app integrity and support security functions for all users.
Apple may process related information according to Apple's own privacy
policy.
-
Sign in with Apple: If you choose to create an
account using Apple, Apple may provide certain account information to
Noti and may process information according to Apple's own privacy
policy. The Application Owner does not control Apple's independent
processing of your information.
-
RSS Feeds: The application accesses public RSS feeds
from news websites and may temporarily store or cache the limited feed
content made available by those sources in order to deliver the
service more efficiently. Data collection and processing by these news
websites are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend
reviewing the privacy policies of the RSS sources you select from the
application's directory.
-
Source-Hosted Media: If an RSS feed includes image
URLs or similar media URLs and Noti displays that media using the
original source URL, the publisher or its service providers may
receive technical request information from your device, such as IP
address, user agent, and related request metadata, according to their
own privacy policies.
-
Opening Articles in External Browser: When you tap an
article, it opens in your device's default web browser (such as Safari
on iOS or Chrome on Android), or in an in-app browser (such as
SFSafariViewController or Chrome Custom Tabs). These
browsers and the websites you visit may collect information according
to their own privacy policies and your device settings. The
Application Owner has no control over data collection by these third
parties.
-
Distribution Platforms: The platforms through which
you download the application (such as Google Play Store or Apple App
Store) may collect usage data, transactions, or device information in
accordance with their own privacy policies. These platforms operate
autonomously and independently of the will and control of The
Application Owner.
7. Information Security
Noti uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect
the limited account and technical data it processes. While no method of
transmission or storage is completely secure, we work to safeguard our
systems and recommend keeping your device secure and updated.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Application Owner may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We
will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy
Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the bottom.
We recommend reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Continued use of Noti after any modification to this Privacy Policy will
constitute acceptance of such changes.
